This semester

This semester has been long but it has been very fun getting to know everyone. I have enjoyed taking this class and learning new things about writing. I have noticed that it has helped me to become a very good writer. I enjoy writing now and do it just for fun now. I glad that I had this opportunity to take this class.

How they will help me in my next class

This class has helped me get ready for the next class in my writing. I am a all around better writer in every aspect of writing. It has made me stop and think about what I am writing, and acknowledge my mistakes so I can fix them. I need to take ENG0950 next semester and I know that I will be prepared for the long road ahead.

Writing skills

I have started to develop many new skills in this class. Some are just as easy as proof reading. I used to go  through my writing so quickly that I just did it to get a grade not for perfection. Now I’ve noticed that I take my time with my writing. Also a big thing with me is my spelling, I am not a good speller so I have to constantly use spell check or a dictionary. This class has helped me so much in just the aspect that I care about what I write instead of just getting the grade.

Revising

As I revise my old assignments, I realize that things are misspelled or don’t make since. I read over the paper and the corrections that the teacher has given me and when I’m done it makes a lot more since to me. It also gives me practice on writing correctly. I enjoy looking back on my old assignments and learning something new.

Making my journal

This was a easy process to do. I like that I get to write about this class and the things that we do in it. I have grown in to a better writer all around. This is good for all of us because it not only helps us write but it also gives us a chance to express ourselves.

What I am learning

As I revise my assignments I am learning so many things about the way that I write. I am bad when it comes to punctuation . I don’t know exactly where things go . When I revise I start to see where I made my mistakes and correct them. Also my spelling is not so great so it helps me to practice my spelling. It also makes me feel good about myself and what I have written.
